History

Sly Goose Cables started in 2008 as a hobby for owner Darren Glowacki. He serviced audio gurus in the Vancouver area and the hobby soon grew into a full-time business when realized there was a demand for quality cabling. By 2012 Sly Goose Cables became the most diverse cable retailer in Canada specializing in audio, video, computer and lighting cables.

What's "Sly Goose" all about?

During his younger years Darren worked for a disc jockey company and toured Ontario doing weddings.  One summer day, he and a co-worker were setting up a wedding in the country-side when they realized the cable they had was not long enough for one of the speaker runs.  With the bride getting ready to walk down the aisle, there was no time to go back. Darren managed to slyly come up with a solution by joining 3 cables and an adaptor together to acquire the length they needed.  Suffice to say the bride was happy and the Sly Goose name was born. 

Sly Goose Cables is a professional brand that likes to have fun.  Our goal is to bring colour and life to a traditionally dry category.  The goose is a swift and clever animal and is one of Canada's most beloved symbols.
