Sly Goose Cables started in 2008 as a hobby for owner Darren Glowacki. He serviced local audio gurus in the Vancouver area and the hobby soon grew into a full-time business. He acknowledged he found a niche market and realized there was a large demand for quality cabling. Customers began to come back as they loved the customization process that Sly Goose Cables utilizes. Customers are allowed to "design" their own cable by choosing the wire, the length, and the connectors terminated on it. By 2011 Sly Goose Cables became the most diverse cable retailer in Canada stocking over 8 brands and counting. Their selection continues to grow as they make cables for recording studios, nightclubs, stage theatres, musicians, churches, and simply put, any person who plugs into an audio device.
